September 2023 Community Events Supported by Politis & Matovina, P.A.

Politis & Matovina, P.A. is excited to once again have many opportunities to show our support for communities across Florida. In September 2023, we are sponsoring, promoting, attending, or otherwise supporting various community events, fundraisers, charitable causes, and more. We have listed them all below, so please take a look and see what interests you. We hope to see you there!

  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series: The Hard Rock Hotel is continuing the crowd-favorite Rock the Beach Tribute Series with rockin’ tribute bands to Nirvana and Pearl Jam on the Wave Terrace.
  • Prostate Cancer Awareness Event: Politis & Matovina is a proud Bronze Sponsor of this charitable motorcycle ride event, which helps raise awareness of prostate cancer and funds for its research and treatment.

  • Labor Day: Our offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day (Monday, September 4th).
  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series (2): The Hard Rock Hotel is back with an incredible tribute band to The Rolling Stones on the Wave Terrace.
  • 9/11 Memorial Ride: The Knights of the Inferno Motorcycle Club honor the brave first responders who sacrificed their lives to save others during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This is a rain-or-shine motorcycle event. Riders will have a police-escorted ride to the 1405 Saloon. Members of Politis & Matovina will have a tent at the event, and Attorney Politis will act as a featured speaker.
    • Date: Sunday, September 10th, 2023; registration from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, ceremony at 9:30 AM, and kickstands up at 10:30 AM

  • Port Orange Community Trust 4th Annual Golf Tournament: Politis & Matovina is excited to be a Golf Cart Sponsor for this charitable golf tournament. Proceeds will support the Whole Child-Education, Physical and Mental Well Being organization.
  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series (3): Welcome back to the Hard Rock Hotel for another tribute series. This time, you can catch a tribute to Whitesnake on the Wave Terrace.
  • 15th Annual Kailynne Quartier Memorial: This annual Memorial Ride is a fundraising event in honor of Kailynne Quartier, who passed away after a heroic fight with brain cancer in 2007. Proceeds will benefit a variety of local charities and foundations.
  • Christmas Come True 7th Annual Golf Tournament: Politis & Matovina is a Hole Sponsor of this charitable golf tournament. We will be handing out promo goody bags (while supplies last).
  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series (4): The Hard Rock Hotel invites you to enjoy the tunes of a tribute band to The Cars on the Wave Terrace.
  • 13th Annual TLC Kids Care Golf Tournament: Politis & Matovina is a Hole Sponsor for this charitable golf tournament. We will hand out promotional goody bags (while supplies last).

  • Parrot Head 5K & Fun Run: Enjoy the sun and sand in this Jimmy Buffet-themed beach running event. A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Marine Science Center, which focuses on sea turtle rehabilitation.
  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series (5): You’ve got one more chance to rock the beach! This Hard Rock Hotel tribute will feature a tribute to The Scorpions, Boston, and iconic women in rock.
  • Daytona Pro: Politis & Matovina had to end September with a big event! We are proud to be Bronze Sponsors of the 2023 NPC/IFBB Pro League Daytona Pro/Am Championships!
