April 2023 Community Events Supported by Politis & Matovina, P.A.

Politis & Matovina, P.A. is proud to support our local community and those across Florida however we can. Each month, we love to sponsor, promote, attend, or otherwise support amazing community events that bring people together and/or benefit a great cause. We are excited to continue this tradition in April 2023!

  • River Scramble Par-Tee on the Halifax: Politis & Matovina, P.A. is a Hole Sponsor for this awesome event! We will be there handing out promotional goody bags, while supplies last and on a first-come, first-served basis. The event benefits Provision Packs, which provides well-balanced nutritional food for children each weekend, as well as during extended breaks during the school year. The goal, through these packs, is to offer support and to relieve some of the food and financial burdens of local low-income families. Most importantly, they hope that these packs provide the blessing of nutrition, and bring comfort to the children of Ormond Beach, so that our youth can focus on their academics and become healthy, successful young adults.
  • PO-SD Rotary 23rd Annual Golf Tournament: Politis & Matovina, P.A. is a Tee Sign Sponsor for this event, which benefits the Community Partnership for Children and other local charities. We are always excited for a chance to combine two of our favorite pastimes: golf and fundraising!

  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series: The Hard Rock Hotel is inviting everyone back for another incredible night of classic rock delivered by the best tribute bands in the business. On this night, you can enjoy tributes to the icon: Bon Jovi!
  • 2nd Annual Daytona Beach Arts Festival: Do you have a passion for creativity? Come enjoy the arts, musical performances, and fun activities to spark your child’s imagination at the 2nd Annual Daytona Beach Arts Festival.
    • Date: Saturday, April 8th, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday, April 9th, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series: Rush to the next Rock the Beach Tribute Series from the Hard Rock Hotel on this night to catch one of the nation’s top Rush tribute bands!
  • National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week: We observe National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, which thanks telecommunication personnel for all their hard work that ensures the world stays connected.
    • Date: Sunday, April 9th, 2023 to Saturday, April 15th, 2023
  • Halifax Humane Society’s Mutt Strutt: The Mutt Strutt is the Halifax Humane Society’s annual FUNdraiser to benefit the society, which in turn, takes care of animals in our community. If you love Fluffy and Fido as much as we do, then you will want to support this charitable event. Details are being finalized, but it is likely to be hosted at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.
  • Annual Kid Fishing Day: Fishing fun for the full family? Yes! It’s here at the South Daytona Kids Fishing Tournament. Children aged 3 to 16 will be able to join supervised fishing tournaments. There will also be educational classes, hands-on shark encounters, an archery range, and provided lunch for young guests. The first 100 kids who register will get a free chum bucket filled with goodies.
  • Rock the Beach Tribute Series: It’s punk to be kind, which is why we’re so excited about this installation of the Hard Rock Hotel Rock the Beach Tribute series! It will feature rocking tributes to Green Day and Blink-182. Be there for the month’s final tribute series celebration.
  • 48th Annual Score One For Kids Golf Tournament: Politis & Matovina, P.A. is a Hole Sponsor and has a Foursome golf team for this charitable golf tourney. The proceeds stay in the Daytona Beach/Volusia area to help fund educational programs for underprivileged children in all grades, kindergarten through high school.
