Politis & Matovina, P.A. is the Daytona Beach law firm people recognize for staying active in our communities. Each month, we love to support, sponsor, and/or attend a variety of local events that pique our interests or intersect with our law firm’s principles. There are several coming up in November, and we think you should know about them!

Check out some of the November events we are excited about:

  • “The Vet” Golf Tourney: We are acting as a sponsor for this awesome golf tournament! It is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th, 2020 at the Crane Lake Golf & Country Club. Check-in begins at 7:30 AM and the shotgun start is at 9:00 AM. All proceeds benefit the Fisher House Foundation.
  • Ormond Beach PAL Golf For Youth Tourney: We are acting as a Hole Sponsor for this golf tournament, which takes place at River Bend Golf Club (730 Airport Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174) on Saturday, November 14th, 2020. Funds will be used to support educational, recreational, athletic, and cultural programs for at-risk children and teens in the Ormond Beach community.
  • Halifax Humane Society Putts Fore Mutts Golf Tourney: Politis & Matovina, P.A. will be participating in this fundraiser as two foursomes, each going for the win. It will take place on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at the LPGA International Golf Club (1000 Champions Drive, Daytona Beach, FL 32124). Registration starts at 7:00 AM and the shotgun start is set for 8:30 AM. We encourage everyone to come join the fun and help raise funds for animals throughout the community. There are great prizes for the best round. The rules are a “scramble,” so you don’t need to have four pro golfers in your foursome team to win. Everyone plays the best ball!

We also want to remind everyone that Thanksgiving will be Thursday, November 26th this year. We will not be in our office on Thanksgiving or Friday the 27th. However, for client emergencies, you can call (386) 333-6613 at any time.

Special Note About the Coronavirus

Please keep in mind that any of the discussed events could have scheduling changes without much prior notice due to coronavirus concerns. You should also expect to take standard coronavirus safety precautions at each event, including the use of an approved facemask or cloth facial covering whenever in a public area and six-foot social distancing rules at all times. Helping yourself, your family, and your community stay safe in these unprecedented times is always a priority.
